Whether you have a new home or an old one, if you’re an audiophile, you just want to listen to music. Unfortunately, there is a lot that goes into the quality of the sound you listen to, especially if you want the same music in the kitchen that’s playing in the living room or basement.
So what are some options for installing?
- Through the walls. It you drill through the walls properly, you can string your music cable so no one sees it. It takes effort, but having a wired speaker system is a great way to get your music throughout your home so you can enjoy it at the proper volume.
- Tracking. Sometimes you just can’t have wiring go where you want it. In those cases, you can use the tracking from Lowe’s or other suppliers. Just peal the sticky backing off and put it where you want. With a quick snap you can close up to four wires per track and many of them are paintable too.
- Wifi. There are some good quality speakers that run on wifi, though you may spend a lot of money to make it what you want. Just watch the signal strength.
Music is a great way to relax. You want your audio system to be perfect and a wired system is still your best option. Whether you go through the inside or outside of the walls, remember that the signal strength is affected by the quality and gauge thickness of the wire.
